| US Cargo Security Requirements. Shipments are subject to all cargo security
requirements imposed by the Transportation Security Administration of the
U.S. Department of Homeland Security ("TSA") under 49 C.F.R. Part 1548, by other
applicable state, local, and foreign governmental authorities, and by the direct and
indirect air carriers and motor carriers that handle the Shipment.
Shipper acknowledges that TSA regulations require Forwarder to refuse to offer
for transport on a passenger aircraft any cargo if Shipper does not consent to a
search or inspection of the cargo in accordance with 49 C.F.R. Parts 1544, 1546,
and 1548 or if, upon inspection, the cargo, in Forwarder's judgment, is unsafe
to transport. Copies of all relevant shipping documents showing the cargo’s
consignee, description, and other relevant data will be retained on file until the
Shipment is delivered. |
